Meet The WAF Global Foundation
WAF is a faith-conceived organization championing the growth and development of women in Sub-Saharan Africa. Having started our work in South Africa our reach has grown around the globe.
We have since extended our drive to selected countries across Africa. We have also been joined by great women from across the globe who share our vision and want to enhance the work of WAF in their different capacities. We all share the belief that, an empowered woman empowers the world.
The thrust of the organization is to see women take their rightful place in equality, equitable opportunity, safety and leadership in Society.
We are determined to make real, lasting transformation in women’s lives by attacking the root causes of gender inequality.

The WAF Global Foundation is emboldened by work started in the Women’s Charter as well as the National Development Plan (NDP) that proposes a range of measures to address inequality, which almost always is skewed against women. The Women Aflame Foundation takes a more wholistic approach to the development, capacitation and emancipation of women taking it from the God-given position of women in society.
We believe in supporting life changing initiatives that not only transform women but also capacitate them to transform lives of others.
